And whereupon the plt by his Atto^rney James: Sangster Comes & Sayes that
the dft Richard Dennis is become and Stands indebted unto the plt in the full Sum of
Two pounds Seaven Shillings & Six pence Sterling money of England & five po hundred
pounds of tobacco doth & may appear by acco^t here under written, which Sum y^e defend^t.
did faithfully assume, & promise to pay unto the plt when thereunto required. but the dft
fraudulently & Craftily intending to deceive the plt of the Said moneys and tobacco hath
not paid, but denieth paym^t though often thereunto required, wherefore the plt Sayes he is
damnified and hath losse to the value of four pound fourteen Shillings & 12^d. Sterling money
& one thousand pound of tobacco, & hereupon brings this Suite        {Jn^o. Doe
