The Same which to him he Oweth and unjustly deteineth &ca  ____________________
        And whereupon the said John Emmett by Peter Dent his Atto^rney Saith that the sd
        John:Rowell by his Certaine Bill Obligatory which the Said John:Emmett with
The Seal of the said John Rowell. Signed bringeth here into Court the date whereof is the
9^th day of Jan^ry in the year of o^r Lord 1690/91 at Monocan within the Jurisdiction of
this Court was indebted to the Said John:Emmett in the Said just Sum or quantity of
577:Pounds of tobacco to be paid to the Said John:Emmett at Some Convenient Landing
on Pocomoke River to the which paym^t well & truly to be made the said Jn^o.Rowell bound
himself firmly by the said Bill Nevertheless the said Jn^o Rowell the said Sum according
to the tenan^t of the Said Bill hath not paid to the damage of the said John:Emmett
of 1000 Pounds of tobacco & thereof he brings his Suite &ca  -     -     -     -     -     -
