Maties good people of this Province and in Contempt of the wholesome Laws of
the Same-  Therefore Craves Judgm^t may be Entered agt the said Edmund according
to Law in that Case made & (provided)//            Ja: Sangster Clr. Ind^tm^ts . B
The Indictm^t being Read to which the Said Edmund pleaded not guilty, upon
which The Said Jone made Oath upon the holy Evangelists, that he the sd
Edmund M^cdonnell was the Only ffather of her late Basterd Child _________
Whereupon it was Ordered that the Said Edmund give good Security for his
good behavio^r.  Ordered also the sd Edm^d. fined twenty five dayes worke diet & tools
Ordr. likewise the sd Edm^d. pay a fine for Jone ffarlow viz twenty five dayes
worke more with diet & tools. Ordered to give Security for the foresd fines & fees B
Ordered  The Said Edmund & Jone into the Sheriffs Custody till

And this day to witt the 19^th. day of Novemb^r an^o. Dom. 1692. Came y^e
Said Jone ffarlow & her Security Robert Smith. and the Said Jone did by
Recognizance Confess her Self to be indebted to their Maties the Sum of tenn pounds
Sterling money & the sd Security Robert Smith in y^e Sum of five pounds like money
due to be leavied on their goods & Chattells Lands & Tennements for their Maties
uses &ca.        
The Condicon of the abovesd Recognizance is Such B
That if the above bound Jone ffarlow be of the good behavio^r & abearance
To all their Maties Liedge people of this Province, dureing this Courts pleasure
Then the Recognizance to be void & of none effect, Otherwayes to be & remaine
in full power force & vertue
