The Condicons of the aforesd recognizance is such that if the above bound Wm Layton
doe make his personal appearance at or next County Court to be holden ye second tuesday
in January then & there to answer unto Such matters & things as be Objected agt him
Said Layton then the Recognizance to be void & of none effect Otherwayes to be and
Remaine in full power force & vertue. ________  - - - - - - - -    _________   - - - - -
 
 
Likewise Came Wm:Burch with his Security Cornelius:Anderson and
the Said Burch by Recognizance in Open Court did Confess himself to owe & Stand
justly indebted unto their Maties the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling money & the sd
Security Cornelius Anderson in the Sum of tenn pounds like money due to be leavied on their
goods & Chattels Lands & Tennements for their Maties uses &ca. __________________

Edm: Mc.donnell                               Maties Justices of the Peace for this County the Second
~   ~   ~    ~   ~    ~    ~                         Tuesday in March 1691/2. What Should be Objected agt
him in behalf of their Maties. And whereupon their Maties
Attorney Comes & Sayes that the Said Edmund Mcdonnell of this County Planter
& within the Jurisdiction of this Court, hath most wickedly Sinnfully & Shamefully Comted
ffornication with Jane:ffarlow of this County Spinster and upon her body begotten a Basterd
Child to the great dishonor of Allmighty God the great Scandall & Evil Example to their
