( 117 ) 9ber ye 9th 1692 Whereupon this Court Ordered that Cornelius Innis give Security for his good behaviour _______ And the same day Came the said Cornelius with his two Securities viz mr Jno. ffranklin and mr Wm. Tomkins and the said Cornelius did in Open Court confess himself to be indebted to their Maties in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling & his Securities ffranklin & Tomkins in the Sum of tenn pounds like money all due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels, Lands & Tennements for their Maties uses &ca. ___________ - - - - - - _______ - - - - - - _________ The Condition of the abovesd Recognizance is Such that if the above bound Cornelius Innis be of the good behavior & abearance to all their Maties Liege people of this Province dureing the Courts pleasure, then the Recognizance to be void & of none effect, Otherwayes to be & remain in full power force & vertue Their Maties Somerset County Sc. The Grand Jury for ye body Contra } of Somerset doe present John: Carey late of this C John: Carey County Labourer, for that the Said John: the first day ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ of ffebruary in the year of our 1691. at Wiccocomocoe with in the Jurisdiction of this Court, the Said John: then & there, did felloniously kill and Carry away Seaven wild Unmarked Shoats of the value of Seaven hundred pounds of porke, being the propper Shoats of mr ffrancis: Jenckins of this County ___ Contrary to the forme of an Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided. their Maties Clerk of presentmts prayes judgmt may be entered agt sd Cary. Dent Chief of prsentmts Wm: Burch: Wm: Layton & Tho: Horseman Sworn for Maties in Crt agt sd Cary: _____ The Indictmt being read to which Said Cary pleaded not guilty & for Tryal pleaded Of this County was Ordered to bring in Court twelve good & lawfull men of his vicenage that the matter in question might be the better known, a list or pannel whereof are as followeth. viz.
