     The Superscription of the foresaid     Letter as following
To his Excellie Lionel Copley Esqre Capt. Genll & Governr of Maryland
These humbly Present .

  Grand Jury gives in their prsentmts. to the Clerk of Indictmts & are dismist -
     vid  9ber Entries.
Courts adjourned for a quarter of an hour. ___ after which the
  Court again                             mr ffr: Jenckins. mr. Ja. Dashiels mr Samuel. Hopkins
  is Called, prsent}          mr Thomas. Jones. & Capt. John King ________
 
 
George Carter having Petioned this Court for Some allowance of this County
Leavy & it is my this Court Considered that sd Carter is an Object of Charity and
therefore their worps doe Ordr. sd Carter be allowed out of sd Leavy 1200 lb tobacco.

        Contra          }     being Sworn upon the holy Evangelists at A
Corn: Innis                             Grand Jury held for the body of this County the
~   ~   ~   ~   ~   ~         Second Tuesday in March last past doe prsent and
find That Cornelius of BogatooeNorton hundred & within the Jurisdiction of
this Court not having the fear of God before his eyes hath wickedly Sinfully
and Shamefully Comitted fornicaton, & upon the body of Eliz. Wildgoose of ye
Same hundred Spinster hath begott a Basterd Child. to the great Scandall, evil
Example, & breach of the laws of this Province.  Their Maties Attorney craves
judgment may be entered, agt the said Offender according to Law in that Case
made & provided &ca  Ja. Sangster. Clr Indtmts.
 
Indictmt. being read to which the said Cornelius Innis pleaded not guilty  but ye
Said Elizabeth Wildgoose made Oath upon the holy Evangelists that he the sd
