This Indenture made the twentieth day of November
five Between                                                    of (Torfara)      of the one party
and Arthur Mason of Boston of the other party Wittnesseth that Anthony Mechado B
   Arthur
Mason by the consent of  (           )  Hooper Mariner who brought him to Boston to learn
the trade or occupation of a Biskett maker , and with him his Heirs ExtrAdmrs of Assigns
after the manner of an Apprentice to Serve from ye twentieth & Second of this prsent month
ensueing the date hereof untill the full end terme of eight years from thence next
ensueing & fully to Compleat & ended dureing which terme the said Apprentice his Mastr
Shall faithfully Serve his Secretts keep, and lawfull Comands gladly doe every where he
Shall doe no damage to his Master nor See to be done of others. But that he to his power
Shall lett or make known to his Said Master, he shall not waste the goods of his Said
Master nor lend them unlawfully to any, he shall not Committ fornication nor Contract
matrimony within the Said Term, he shall not frequent Taverns nor Ordinaries nor
places of gameing nor absent him from the Service of his Said Master by day nor night
unlawfully, but in all things as a good & faithfull Apprentice he shall behave himself ___
towards his Said Master, his Execcutors Admrs & Assigns & all his & theirs dureing all
the Said Terme, And the Said Master his Execcutors Admrs & Assigns the sd Apprentice
the trade of a Biskett baker which he useth by the best may or means he  or they can teach
or instruct or Cause to be taught or instructed finding unto the said Apprentice, meat
drink & apparrel. washing & lodging & all other necessaries as well in Sickness as in
health dureing all the Said Terme, and at the end & expiration of the aforesd Terme
to give and deliver or Cause to be delivered unto the Said Apprentice, two good Suites of
Apparrel. for all parts of his body, Suitable for Such an Apprentice and for the true prformance
hereof the Said parties bind themselves each unto the other firmly by these prsents, where
of the parties above named to these Indentures have Sett their hands & Seals the day & year
first above written                                                                                                         The marke of
