Maryland Somerset County Ssc.
William and Mary by the Grace of God of England, Scotland, ffrance & Ireland King and Queen defender
of the faith &c. To ffrances: Hill of Somerset County greeting. Whereas Richard: Hill of the sd County
deceased, we do therefore give and grant unto you the sd ffrances: Hill full power and authority to Admr
all and singular the goods chattels and Creditts of the sd deceased, and to demand collect and Leavy and
in legall manner require and receive all and all manner of debt and debts due and owing to the sd
deceased and well and faithfully to dispose of the same. and out of the goods Chattels and Creditts of
the deceased which have may or shall come to your hands or posession, well and truly to pay the debts
due by the sd deceased so far forth as the same will thereunto extend and the law will charge you
according to the true value of the sum thereof, you having first taken your Oath well and truly to Admr
the same and to make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods
chattels and credits of the said deceased, which have may or shall come to your hands posession or knowledge
Appraised in money) and a true and just account of and upon your Admrn therein, and to exhibit both into
our County Court where wills are proved according to power given by a Certain Ordnance of Assembly -
lawfully authorized touching which Inventory you are presently assigned to performe or at furthest -
at or before the second tuesday in August now next ensueing & an account within twelve months from
the date of these presents, And lastly we do hereby Constitute, ordain and appoint you the sd ffrances:
Hill, Administratrix of all and singular the goods chattels and Creditts of the sd deceased. Signed pr
Order of Court this ninth day of June in the 3d. year of their Maties Reigns Over England &c
and in the year of our Lord God One thousand six hundred ninety one.

Memorandum. New letters & Comiss. to New Appraisers Ordered & Sent wth Bond to
Esqr. Layfield & Since allowed till June Court. Saml:Collins & Robt.Pool:Apprasers

We do hereby impower you mr Wm: Planner and mr Robert Pool. to Appraise the goods
and Chattels of Richard: Hill deceased, you having first taken you Oaths before mr
ffrancis Jenckins or mr George Layfield, and you are to Certifie the true value of the
sd goods and Chattels Appraised in money under your hands and seals into our County
Court held the second tuesday in August next after the date hereof this by Order of Court
dated the 9th. day of June in the 3d. year of their Maties Reign. William & Mary King
and Queen Over England &c. and in the year of our Lord God One thousand Six hundred
ninety One. mr. Jenkins or mr Layfield to Swear Appraisers
