(87) In the name of God Amen. I Richard Hill being in body sick & weak but of memory Sound and perfect blessed be the Allmighty God for the same, Considering that is appointed for all men to dye, and not knowing how soon it shall or may please God to demand that talent of life, that in his goodness he has been pleased to lend unto me, for the more better Ordering of his earthly benifitts he has been pleased to endow me withall in Case he should be pleased to call me now out of this transitory life, I do in the first place humbly resign my soul to god who gave it trusting and believing absolutely in the pretious blood of my deare Saviour Jesus Christ for my redemption,and my body to ye grave to be decently and Christian like buried, and for those temporall blessings which he has in his mercy bestowed upon me I leave in manner and form following, hereby revoaking & dissanulling and making void all former will or wills, testament or testaments by me formerly made or done and also absolutely Confirming ratifying and establishing this as my absolute & last will & last will and testament. - Imprimus I desire that if my loving wife shall think it fitt & Convenient to Sell and dispose of my working tools, to pay satisfie and clear my debts, and for the land that I bought, to lett it fall and receive the money back againe which I paid for it being two thousand pounds of tobacco. And for nine Cows and Calves that are now living as I suppose to remain in and under my wifes tuition, for the proper use, benefit and good of her and my two Sonns, Not in any wise to bargain to bargaine, Sell or dispose of any the sd stock or there increase untill the Children arive to the age of thirteen years, and then to be equally divided, my wife to have until then the male encrease, but after to run wholy to and for the Childrens propper and entire benefit as well male as female, also eight ews & lambs I leave in One and the Self same nature & spetie, for the same time and not to be divided before, And for all my household goods in general, I bequeath and leave absolutely unto the propper use and behoof of my dear wife (my two guns excepted which I leave unto my two Sonns, And for what debts are due unto me I wholy leave and bequeath unto the propper use and behoof of my dear wife and Children. And in Case my wife should marry after my decease I desire my two Sonns may free for themselves at the age of twenty years, and for what hoggs I have I leave wholy for the good of my wife and Children and further I Constitute Ordain and appoint my dear wife as my absolute and Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament, And for trustees for to Oversee the due performance of the same, I nominate and choose my very goods friends John: Emmet and Sampson:Allen.
