71 Did grant bargaine allienate and Sell unto Cornelius Morris of Somerset County aforesaid the Said Parcell of Land Called Morris Hope To have and to hold the Same to him the Said Cornelius Morris his heires & assignes by wch: device the Said Cornelius Morris became possesed of an estate in ffee Simple in the Said Land And Since vizt on the first Day of December in the fourth year of the Dominion of the Said Rt: honr:ble Charles &c over Maryland &c Annoq Dom1678 the aforesaid Cornelius Morris And Anne his wife by theire Certaine Deed of Indenture Duely executed & enrolled did grant bargaine allienate & Sell unto William Manlove of the County aforesaid the Said parcell of Land Called Morrisses hope To have & to hold the Same to him the Said William Manlove his heires & assignes for Ever by wch: device the said William Manlove became possessed of an estate in fee Simple in the Said Land And Since vizt on the first day of ffebruary in the Twelvth year of the Dominion of the aforesaid Rt: honr:ble Charles &c over Maryland &c Annoq Dom:1688 the aforesd. William Manlove & Alce his wife by theire Certaine Deed of Indenture Duely executed & enrolled Did grant bargain & Sell unto the above mentioned Thomas Lydster part of y aforementioned parcell of Land Called Morriss hope bounded as ffolloweth beginning at A dead white oake being a Corner Tree of a parcell of Land Surveyed for the honnble: Collo William Stevens on the Side of Pocomoke bay thence with a Line drawne Northnortheast one hundred Ninety five perches thence with a Line drawne South west one hundred eighty Seaven perches to a marked white oake on the bay Side & from thence with a Line drawne Southeast to the first boundr: Containing forty four acres more of Lesse And whereas the Rt: honr:ble Charles Lord Baltemore by his Deed of grant undr: y great Seale used in y Province of Maryland for graunting of Lands there bearing date at y Citty of St: Maries the 16 day of June in y fourth year of his Said Lordships Dominion over Maryland &c Anno Dom: 1679 Did for the Consideration therein mentioned graunt unto the Said William Manlove his heires & assignes a Tract or parcell of Land Called & knowne by the Name of Preesimon at Persommon Point Scituate lieing and beeing on the ea the east Side of Chesepiake bay on the North Side of Pocomoke Bay in Somr:Sett County aforesaid bounded as ffolloweth beginning at a marked red oake Standing in the Line of marked Trees of a peece of Land formerly Surveyed for the aforesd mentioned Maurice Lister thence with a Line drawne Southwest Two hundred & (?) perches to a marked white oake being a Corner Tree of a parcell of Land Surveyed for the said Lister thence with a Line drawne west northwest eighty perches to a Small fresh water Run Called y mouth of the Ponds from thence with a right Line drawne to y first boundr. Cont. fifty acres more or Lesse To have & to hold the Same to him the Said William Manlove his heires & assignes for Ever wch: Said fifty acres Together with y forty four acres last mentioned being part of Moriss hope as also y last recited fifty acres Called preseemon alias percimon point in all Ninety four acres of Land (now Called by the Name of the Exchange) Together with all and Singular the houses buildings Edifices orchards gardens Nurseries fences woods underwoods Timber or Timberlike Trees & all & Singular the writings Pattents Charters Conveyances ~ escripts minumts emolumts & all other Rights Proffitts Privilideges heriditamts Easements & Commodities thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold y said parcells of Land with all & Singular other the pr:misses hereby mentioned to be bargained and Sold & every of them with their & every of theire appurtenances & the reversion & remainders of them & every of them unto him the Said Samson Allen his heires & assignes To the only Proper use & behoofe of the Sd: Samson Allen his heires & assignes for Ever without any Mortgage redemption Condicon use or Limitacon to recall after Change |
