225 To all to whome these presents shall come. Know ye that I Sarah Russell of the County of Somerset of ye County of Somerset in the Province of Maryland Widdow & Relict of George Russell deceased late of the County aforesd who died intestate and I the said aforesd Sara. Out of the great Confidence & trust which I repose in most dear & affectionate Mother Tomasin Lecatt, & my dear & welbeloved Brother John: Milby both of the Courty of Accamack in Virginia, doe hereby put into the hands, power & Custody of my Said most dear & affectionate Mother & welbeloved Brother as aforesd the bodies & Estate of my deare Children, Samuel. John. & Jane Russell allowing my Sonns aforesd at the age of eighteen years and my Daughter at Sixteen years old to be at full age free and at their owne dispose to occupy and imploy their prsons & Estates as they shall think fitt & Convenient for ye good of my Said Children as aforesd, in Case I should betake my Self to another Husband, and yt my Said Sonn Samuel as aforesd shall enjoy his Lands, with the houses & appurtenances thereunto belonging at the age afore Said also if my Said Husband shall not keep the houses & fences now Standing or hereafter to be erected upon the Said Lands in good repaire, Then it shall be left wholy to my Said most dear & affectionate Mother and welbeloved Brother as aforesd to doe as in their discretion they shall think fitt & Convenient in behalf of my Said Sonn Samuel or his Heirs, either by removing, or disposing thereof to any other person or persons that will improve it to the use aforesd. In Confirmation of this my real act & Deed I have hereunto Sett my hand & fixed my Seal this twenty eight day of June A. dom. To all people to whome these presents shall come Know ye that I Margarett Lewes, late wife of Richard Lewes of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland, for the deare love and tender affection which I bear unto my Children, Samuel. Richard William & Margarett Lewes, doe by these presents give unto the Said Samuel: Richard, William & Margarett Lewes my Children four Cows, Over bitted on the right ear - - and Cropt and Slitt & underbitted on the left ear. To have & to hold the Said four Cows with the increase female of the said four Cows, unto the aforesd, Samuel: Richard: William & Margarett Lewes, and their Heirs for Ever. And if any of the Said Children dye before they come at age, then the sd Catle with their increase female to be equally Shared among the remainer of the said Children as they come at age.
