You shall Swear that yw will bear true faith and allegiance to King William & Queen Mary. So help yw God



You doe Sincearly promise and Swear that you will be faithfull and bear true alegiance to their Maties King Wm:
and Queen Mary, and doe Swear that from your heart, you abhor, detest and abjure, as impious and heretical, this damnable
doctrine and position, That Princes excommunicated or deprived by the Pope or any other authority of the See of Room
may, be deposed or murthered by their Subjects, or any other person whatsoever. And you doe declare that no foreign
Prince, Prelate, State or Potentate hath or ought, to have any Jurisdiction Power Superiority, Preheminence (or)
authority, Ecclesiastical or Spiritual within this Realm. So help you God.



You doe Swear as Comissioners for this County of Somerset and Province of Maryland, to doe equal right to the poor as to
the rich to the best of yr Cuning witt and power, according to the laws of England and Acts of Assembly, you shall not
debarr or hinder the prosecution of Justice to take any guift bribe or ffee, to the intent of delaying of judgment
but shall behave your Self justly and truly to the best of your understanding, So long as you shall persist in this Office, &
untill you shall be by lawfull authority discharged therefrom. so help you God.



The Oath of an Attorney
You shall Swear that you shall doe no falshood, nor consent to any to be done in this Court, And if you
know of any to be done, you shall give notice thereof to the Justices of this Court that it may be reformed
you shall delay no man for lucre or malice, you shall increase no fees, but be contented with the fees of an
Attorney to be limited and appointed by this Court, all Such process as you shall Sue out of this Court
shall be Sealed with the Seal thereof. And further you shall use and demean your Self in the office of our
Attorney in this Court according to your best Skill and knowledge. so help you God. ==== ====



You Shall Swear that you Shall well and truely Serve their maties in the office of Constable, you Shall See and Cause that
their maties Peace be well and truly kept, according to the power. you Shall arrest Such prsons as in yr presence, Shall Comitt or
make any riott or affray or breach of their maties Peace. you Shall do yr Best endeavor upon Complaint to you made to
apprehend all ffelons, Riotters or persons Riotously assembled, and if any Such offenders Shall make any Such resistance
with force you Shall Leavy Hue and Cry and Shall persue them untill they be taken. you Shall do yr best endeavor
Hue and Cry be Duely raised and persued against murthers theives and other fellons or fugitives Servants and
that the lawes and ordrs., and Such other idle persons Coming within ye limitts be duely put in Execcution at your
County Court, you Shall present all offences done against the Severall acts made for the Suppressing of drunkedness
and also true presentment make of all bloodshed, affrayes, outcryes, rescues and other offences Comitted against
their maties Peace within yr Limits, you Shall well and truly Execute all precepts and warrents to you Directed
from the Justices of Peace of this County or higher officers. And you shall well and duely according to yr knowledge
power and ability doe and Execute all things belonging to a Constable so long as you Shall Continue in this office
So help you God. ====
