( 213 ) I James Noble doe Assign over all my right title & interest of this within written Bill of Sale to Wm Broadshoe fferryman of the County of Somerset , allwayes provided that if the within written Wm: Cook doth redeem the Catle within mentioned by paying two thousand pounds of tobacco the sd Catle are to be the said William: Cooks, if the sd Cook redeems them between this and March Court next ensueing the date hereof, other = =wise the said Catle are to be the said Bradshaws as wittness my hand this 22: day o January Anno Domini 1691. George: Noble Thomas: B Brinton Signum ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Know all men by these presents that we John: Taylor ffrancis Martin & George Noble of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland, doe acknowledge & Confess our Selves to owe and are indebted unto Isaac: Baker of the Same County & Province aforesd the just Sum of nineteen hundred ninety & Seaven pounds of tobacco good & Merchantable which we promise to pay to the above named Isaac: Baker, or to his Certaine Attorney or to his Heirs Extors Admrs or Assigns to the which payment well & truly to be done & made, we bind us & each of us joyntly & Severally to the Said Baker & his aforesds In Testimony whereof we have hereunto Sett our hands & Seals this 15th day of June Anno Domini. 1692 . The Condicon of this Obligation is Such that whereas the above bound John: Taylor, by due Course at Law hath made appear before our Justices in Court Sitting that the abovesd Isaac Baker, was justly indebted to him ye Said Taylor the just Sum of Seaven hundred fourty eight foot of plank & humbly prayed attachmt. for the Same. wth allowance, which by the sd Court was granted upon the 11th. day of March 1689: & in June 1691: the said Attachmt issued agt the goods Chattels & Creditts of the said Baker for nine hundred ninety Seaven foot of plank which Said Sum was attached by the sheriffe of our sd County, and made due returne thereof before our Justices in Court Sitting ye 13tth: day of June 1691: and the sd Taylor then prayed execution might issue thereon which by the sd Crt was granted the sd Taylor giving Security according to Law. which Condicon is Such that if the said absent defendt Isaac: Baker, shall within one year & a day to be accompted from the day of the Said attachment awarded Come either in person or by his lawfull Attorney appear to the sd Original action agt the sd Jno Taylor, and make appear that the sd plt. hath been and is Satisfied of his debt or demands in his said accon, or shall otherwise in Court discount or Barr the sd plt. of the Same, & that the plt make restitution according to Law, that then this Obligacon to be void and of none effect.
