212 May the 9th day Anno Do. 1692 Received of mr. Isaac: Hull Master of the good Ketch Maryland Merchant, and for the use & propper accot. of Capt. John: Higginson of Salum & James: Barton of Boston New England the perticuler & following, to eight hundred eighty Six lb: of muscowade Suger hogg head and all to fourteen New England pales, to one Iron pott, to four pieces Searge. No: 4: 5: 6: 7: to Seventeen yards of Canvis to nine pound of powder in Cask the tare unknown all I receive of the said Isaac: Hull, and in behalfe of Sampson Watter of Boston New England I say received by me James Dashiell. Then Received of Samson Watters of Boston New England mariner and of his Attorney James Dashiell Junr. the just Sum and quantity of fourty hoggheads of tobacco marked J B & liwise -- twenty one hoggheads of tobaccoe Marke SW: for the use of the Said Samson & James: Barton of Boston & Capt. John: Higginson of Salem New England I say recd by me. Testis Isaac: Hull Richard: Crockett Edward: ffowler. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Know all men by these presents that I James: Noble of the County of Somerset do Constitute ordain & appoint mr. Robert: Pirrie of the County aforesaid my true & lawfull Attorney for me & in my name & to my propper use & behoof, to make full delivery of Six head of Catle, that now is in the Custody of Wm: Cook of the same County, to William Bradshaw fferry man, the said Bradshaw, the sd Bradshaw having allready received the Bill of Sale assigned to him from James Noble, that was at first given to the said Noble by the sd Wm Cook. I the said James Noble doe give my full power & lawfull authority to the sd Pirrie my lawfull Attorney as full & amply as if I my self were present by vertue of the said Bill of Sale past by the sd Cook to the sd Noble to Seize - upon the said Catle. their names being mentioned in the Bill of Sale & to deliver the sd Catle unto the sd Bradshaw & for the Consideration hereof. I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this 4th: day of ffebruary. Anno Domini 1691. Testis: John: Watt James: Noble: Sealed - - - George: Noble Know all Men by these presents that wee William: Cook & Elizabeth his wife Doth Sell & dispose unto James: Noble of the County of Somerset all the Cows and Chattels appertaining & belonging unto us & now in our posession -- and their produce, and from henceforth doth make good the Sale of the Same unto the said James from all pson or persons whatsoever freely relinquishing all right and title of the said Catle belonging unto us, this being upon a valuable Consideration in hand allready recd, for the Confirmation of this, we have hereunto Sett our hands and Seals this tenth day of August . 1691 and their product interlined before signing & Sealing the name of y Catle and Cow tabby Signed Sealed and delivered in prsence of} another named Gritte another Mally his marke John: Watt. three yearlings Nancy: betty & } William W Cook: Sealed Wm Broadhoe Tom bull.
