requiring them to appear at a Special Court to be Suddenly calld & held for the said County for the Electing
& hoosing of three delegates or Deputies to Supply the vacancy of Thomas. Evernden. John: Goddin &
John: Huett who are disabled to Serve for y^e County in this present Gener^ll. Assembly now held at our Citty of S^t.
Maries. at which sd Court the sd ffreemen So required to appear or the Maj^r part of them as shall then appear are
hereby authorized & required to elect & Choose three discreet ffreemen of y^r County having Each of them A
Seated Plantation of fifty Acres of Land at the least or a visible personall Estate of fourty pounds Sterling
at the least in the said County, and y^w shall give authority to them by One Indenture under their hands & Seals
to be Deputies for the sd County to Supply the vacancy aforesd in the said Gen^ll. Assembly to doe & Consent to
those things which their by the favour of God shall happen to be Ordained by us by & with the advice & Consent
of our Great Council of this our Province, Concerning the Publick good & welfare of the Same which sd Indenture
shall between y^w the Said Sheriffe of the One part & the ffreemen Electors of the other part & shall therein
mention the time & place of Such Election, and the persons So Elected, & shall be Signed & Sealed by you and the
Said ffreemen, One part of which Said Indentures, you are to keep for y^r Justification, & the other part Close
Sealed up y^w forthwith & without delay transmit to our high Court of Chancery at o^r Citty of S^t. Maries, hereof
