Majr. Robert: King. Capt. John: Winder mr James : Dashiels mr. James. Round. mr Samuel: Hopkins: mr Thomas: Jones . ____ - - - - - ___ Capt Jno King mr George Layfield. The Court being Calld. the precept being read for the Electing of Burgesses being signed by his Excellency the Governour as appears in fo: 205: the ffreemen qualified proceeded to vote. the Major part where of voted for mr. John: Huett. Capt. William Whittington. mr Thomas. Evernden & mr John: Goddin to be their Burgesses or Deligates to Serve for this County at the next Generall Assembly to be held at the Citty of St. Maries the tenth day of May next ensueing the date hereof. which said Electors, did then Sign to two Indentures & Seal the Same for Confirmation thereof. ______ - - - - - _____ - - - - - ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ March the 17th. 1692: Be known unto all men by these presents that I Stephen Page Planter living in the County of Somerset, doe here discharge Marded: Canaday of all damages, that I can aleadge against her, and So I here Sett my hand Stephen: Page. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ At a Calld Court the 23th. day of May for the prfixing a Certain day for the Electing of Burgesses or Deligates to Serve at this present Generall Assembly. Assembly now held at the Citty of St. Maries ___ Ordered that the Electors appear at the Court house at ten of the Clock on sd friday to give in their votes Ordered. that the Constables give notice to every free holder in their hundreds, qualified according to Act of Assembly to appear as above Ordered: Ordered that the Sheriffe deliver, Coppies of the Order to the said Constables, and that they forthwith prosecute sd Order _______ - - - - - - - _______ - - - - - - - ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ William & Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland ffrance & Ireland King & Queen defenders of the faith &ca. These are to authorize and require yw that imediatly upon receipt hereof you call together four or more Comissioners of yr County with the Clerk who are hereby required to Sitt as a Court & dureing giving notice to all the ffreemen of the said County who have within the Said County a Seated Plantation of fifty Acres of Land at the least or a visible Estate to the value of fourty pounds Sterling at the least : verte -
