hereof that yw call together four or more of your County Court with the Clerk who are hereby to Sitt as a Court &
dureing their Sitting by vertue of your Office, to make or Cause to be made publique proclamacon, thereby
giving notice to all the ffreemen of yr said County, who have a Seated plantacon of fifty acres of Land at the Least
or a visible personal Estate to the value of fourty pounds Sterling at the least, requiring them to appear at A
Special County Court to be Suddenly calld and held for your County, for the Electing and chuseing of four Deputies
or Deligates to Serve for yr County at a Genrll. Assembly holden at St. Maries, the tenth day of May next ensueing
the date hereof At which Said County Court, the said ffreemen So required to appear or the Majr part of them as
Shall then appear, shall and may and are hereby authorized to elelect and choose four ffreemen of your County
having a Seated Plantation of fifty acres of Land at the least, or a visible Estate of fourty pounds Sterling at the
least, within your Said County, and yw shall give authority to them by One Indenture under their hands and Seals
to be the Deputies and Deligates for your Said County at the said General Assembly, to doe and Consent to those
things, which their by the favour of God shall happen to be Ordained by us, by and with the advice and Consent
of our great Council of this our Province, Concerning Such occasions and affairs, as shall relate to the Government
State and defence of our said Province, which Said Indentures shall be Between yw said Sheriffe of the One part
and the said ffreemen Electing of the Delegates, and shall bear date the Same day upon which the said Election
shall be made, and shall mention the time and place of Such Election and the persons So Elected, and shall be signed
and Sealed each part of them as well by you the Sheriffe as by the said ffreemen by whome the said Election
Shall be made, and that upon Such Election you the Sheriffe shall So Soon as Conveniently may be Certifie and
Transmitt to our high Court of Chancery One part of the Same Indentures Close Sealed up under your hand
and Seal, and the other of the Said Indentures you are to keep for your Justification. Wittness our trusty and
well beloved Lionel: Copley Esqr. Capt Genrll and Governr in Chief in and over our Province of Maryland and the
Territoryes thereunto belonging. the 9th. day of April in the 4th. year of our Reign Annoq Dom. 1692

Proclamation then was made pr sheriffe in Court giving notice to all concerned that the day appointed
for the electing of Burgesses was Thursday the twenty eight day of this Instant month of April
And the sd Court Ordered that the Clerk should draw orders to each Constable in this County that the sd
Constables should forthwith give notice to every freeholder qualified to appear at the County Court house
upon the foresd Thursday being asd the 28th. day of April next ensueing there to Chuse Burgesses to
Serve for this County at a Genrall Assembly held at St. Maries. __ which Orders were all drawn pr Jno. West Clr


The Sheriffe was likewise Ordered to deliver the sd Orders to the Constables.
