Worll. Gentlemen. March the 12th. 1691
Sir / I understanding by Some Gentlemen that Came here last night that it was your desires that I should
appear before ye worpps. this day, I should be willing if I were able ride or goe afoot for I have a desperate
hand, and withall a violent feaver and Ague ffor I doe assure you I was not out of my bed Since the first day
of Court untill now, which I did to Satisfie your worpps. that I doe not Stay upon any accompt Only wch that
God Allmighty was pleasd to afflict me with, which may be any mans Cause when he pleases. I have not much
more to add, Only that I desire that there may be no exception taken as for the matter in hand which is as
I understand is about the mill, which if I were there I could make yr worps Senscable, that those Gentlemen-
that appears agt it was the greatest promoters to it, So that I doe judge, that there is no Such hast for tryall
Every one of the Bench understands how I am Concerned, yr worpps is Senceable what a Charge it is to build
Such a piece of worke as that it, I have no more but wishing yw in generall all happyness wch is yr desire of
Your worpps most humble Servants.

And this day being March the 12th. Came Stephen: Page with his Securities viz Thomas: Tull
and mr. Peter: Dent, and the Said Stephen Page did pr Recognizance acknowledge him Self to be indebted
To their Maties William & Mary King & Queen Over England &ca. in the Sum of fourty pounds Sterling money
Of England due to be leavied upon his goods & Chattels lands & Tennements for sd Maties uses &ca and the said
Tull and Dent did likewise Confess their Selves indebted to sd Maties to be leavied upon their goods &ca for
the uses ut Supra:
The Condition of this Obligation is Such that if the above Bound, Stephen Page, be of the good behaviour &
abearance towards all their Maties Liege people of this Province as also pay the four fold, as pr jury in fo.
181. with Cost of Suit that then this Recognizance to be void and of none effect, Otherwayes to be and remain in
full power force and virtue.
