To their Maties Justices of the Peace for the County of Somerset in Court Sitting. The humble petion of James
Maynard humbly Sheweth ___ - - - - That whereas yr Petionr has been many times Solicited by many of his
Neighbours and others tradeing into the County to keep an Ordinary at Snow Hill which is Supposed to
be of great use and ease to the inhabitants, in Order to which your Petioner humbly Craves yr worps Lycence
for the Same and yr Petioner as in duty bound Shall pray &ca.
The aforesd Petion being Read and Considered was by the Court grantd, the sd Maynard was Ordered
to give Security according to Law. &ca. ________ - - - - - - - _______ - - - - - - ____ - - - -



Charles Mullen having attended as Evidence Between Philip Askew Plt. & Edward Wheeler dft. on prt
of the plt. eight dayes Craves yr worpps. Order for Attendance. March 11th: 1691/2.
Sworn ye day above mentioned before me James: Round __________ - - - - - -
Ordered.

Samuel: Johnson: having attended four dayes in a Controversie depend in Court between Charles
Mullen plt. and James: Inglish. dft. on part of the plt as an Evidence Craves yr worpps Order
for attendance March 11th 1691/2.
Sworne the day above mentioned before me James: Round



Thomas: Everton having attended nine dayes as Evidence in Court in a Controversie depending Between
Philip: Askew: plt and Edward Wheeler dft on the prt of the dft. Craves Order from yr worps for attendance
March: 11th 1691/2. Sworne before me : James: Round.

Summers John: Roach Senr and ffrancis Martin humbly sheweth that whereas your Petioners was Sumoned
to attend this Court as Jury men, your Petioners humbly prayes yr worps to release yr Petioners & yr Petioners
as in duty bound Shall ever pray.

in Court were } Round. mr. Samuel: Hopkins. mr George Layfield. mr. Thomas: Jones. _________

mr. Robert Sample, Supplicated this Court that Some Course may be taken with his Servant Rich Murrah:
the sd Murrah, having broke his Contract with sd Sample. The Court Orders sd Murrah into Sher: Custody till he
