Somerset County Sc ( 177 ) Be it known unto all men by these presents yt we Stephen Page John Pope & William Richardson all Inhabitants of ye County abovesd and province of maryland are each of us Joyntly & Severally holden & doe acknowledge our Selves to Stand firmly bound and obliged and Indebted to their maties King William & Queen Mary in ye just and full Sum of Eighty pounds Sterling money and for ye payment of ye Same well and truely to be made unto their maties or unto any Officer or officers under them Lawfully Demanding ye Same we ye Sd parties before nominated Doe joyntly & Severally and as well firmly really and absolutely bind our Selves our heirs Execcutors and Admrs in ye whole and for ye whole as wittness our hands and Seales to ye Condition of this our obligation Dated this 5th Day of August in ye sd year of ye reign of our Sovereign Lord & Lady King William & Queen Mary Anno Domini 1691 - - - - - - The Condition of ye above Sd Obligation is Such, that if ye above bounden Stephen Page & his Wife Bridgett her Son Thomas & her Daughter Susanna Doe all of them make their prSonall appearances at their maties Court next to be holden by ye Justices of Somersett there to answere what Shall be Objected agt them by Thomas Oxford George: Russell & Walter: Read: on ye Kings behalfe relating to ye killing Stealing and meaking use of seaven Barrow Swine and two large Piggs or Small Shoats, And Shall Stand and Abide Judgmt. of Court upon ye foure then ye abovesd obligation to become utterly void & null, but if otherwayes to Stand and abide and remain in full force Strength & vertue Stephen Page Sealed Sealed and Delivered John Pope Sealed in presence of Wm Richardson Sealed Samuell: Hopkins Senr Walter Read ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Maryland Sc. Know all men by these presents that I Thomas: Oxford, of ye County of Somerset and province of maryland abovesd Doe acknowledge me my heirs Execcutors & Admrs to owe and Stand justly Indebted unto our Sovereigh Lord and lady William & mary King & Queen over England &ca. in ye full and Just Sume of fourty pounds Sterling money of England ye which paymt. well & truely to be made I bind me & my aforesds firmly by these presents to our Sd Sovereign Lord & Lady their heirs & Successors without fraud or Coven - - - - - - - - - The Condition of this Obligation is Such yt if ye above bounden Thomas: Oxford Shall appear at our next County Court to be held ye Second tuesday in August next then & there to prossecute & pursue Stephen Page & Bridgett his wife Thomas: Parramore and Sussanna his Sister and Margarett Kennedy in their maties Behalfe, then this Obligation to be void & of none effect otherwise to be & remaine in full force Power & vertue.
