George: Layfield Esqr. proved a Bill in Open Court by the Oaths of two Evidences which sd Bill was due
to Coll. Wm: Stevens from One - Price _____ - - - - - - - ____ - - - - - - - - __________



Mr Thomas: Dixon. Craved Letters of Admrn upon Rich Ruggs Estate. But the Courts
Result was to have the Result of the widdow. &ca ______ - - - - - _______



To their Maties Justices of the Peace for Somerset County, the humble Petition of ffrancis: Thorrowgood
humbly sheweth ____ - - - - That whereas your Petioner was bound to the good behaviour dureing the
Courts pleasure, whereupon your Petioner humbly prayes that I may be released and have in my Bonds of
good behaviour, Also your Petioners Negro by Some misdemeanour done by him being Concerned with Some
Servants of mr Lawrence Crawford, your Petioner was also fined Six hundred pounds of Tobacco for the Negroes
misdemeanour, which your Petioner humbly prayes your worps: would should Law or President for the Same
and your Petioner will willingly pay the Same, And yr Petioner as in duty Ever bound shall ever pray
Francis Thorowgood.
Which foresd Petion being read was Considered, and the sd Thorrowgoods Bonds of behaviour was
by the Court remitted. ______ The rest Continued ________ - - - - - - ______ - - - - - ___

humbly sheweth= Whereas mr John: Cropper by his last will and Testament left unto the Children
of Thomas: Osbourne, the first Mayre Colt that any of his Mayers brought, which Mayre Colt the Children
of your Petioner never received nor hath had delivered to them. Your worps Petionr Craves yssr Worps Order
that the Admr of the Estate may performe the will of the deceased, and your Petioner as in duty bound
Shall ever pray. &ca.
Ordered by this Court that the foresd Legacy as prayed for be paid as.

four hundred pounds of tobacco, due to be paid in 89: your Petioner Craves your worps Order for paymt.
of the Same by the Admr of the Estate, and yr worps Petioner as in duty bound shall ever pray &ca. -
Petion being read judgment was Confest by mr James: Sangster Attorney of the Admr for 400lb tob.
