( 105 ) Memorandum. that this day to witt the eleaventh day of July in the third yeare of their Maties Reign William & Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland ffrance & Ireland King & Queen defenders of the faith &c. Came the within mentioned Elizabeth Poole. John. Poole & Mathewe his wife before us Capt. John King and mr. Stephen: Horsey Two of their Maties Justices of the Peace in Somerset County being in their propper persons as parties to this within written Indenture, and did acknowledge the Land within mentioned called addition to ffree purchase to be the right of her the within named Hannah: Carptenter, as those which the said Hannah hath of the guift of them the said Elizabeth Poole. John:Poole & Mathew his wife, and for them & their Heirs & the Heirs of ye Said Mathew have remised & made quit Claim there of to the said Hannah. and to her Heirs & Assigns for ever and further the said Elizabeth Poole. John:Poole & Mathew his wife have granted for themselves & their Heirs & all and every of the Heirs of the said Mathew that the sd Land within mentioned Called addition to ffree purchase qt. fifty Acres more or less unto her the sd Hannah & her Heirs and Assigns agt them the sd Elizabeth:Poole. John: Poole & Mathew his wife and their Heirs and all and every the Heirs of the said Mathewe will warrant and defend for ever, and for this acknowledgment Remise Quitt claim & agreement, the sd Hannah hath give them eight thousand pounds of tobacco; Taken before us the day and year abovesd & examined by Eliz Recd the ffine on Alienation pr me Poole widdow & Jno. Dom 1691. -- pr Jno West Clr Cur Comit Somerset This Indenture. made the fourth day of December in the year of our Lord God, One thousand Six hundred and ninety Between. James Cullen of St. Maries County in the Province of Maryland, Execcutor of the last will and Testament of Marke Cordea. of the same County and Province deceased of the One part, And Nicholas: ffountain of Somerset County in the said Province of the other part Wittnesseth that whereas the sd Marke Cordea in his life time was Seized and posessed of a Certain tract or percell of Land called new Rumney lying on the Eastermost Side of Chesiopeake Bay in the County of Somerset in a Neck of Land lying betwixt Annemessex and Monokin River in a Marsh called Rumney Marsh. Begining for length at the Northermost Side of a Creek Called Winders Creek, and at the Westermost Side of a Small gutt issuing out of the sd Creek near unto which is a marked Pine, and from the said Gutt runing Northeast Northerly for length two hundred Seaventy five pearches to a pine Stump that is marked Standing in the Marsh, and from thence runing for breadth Southeast Easterly ninety five pearches to a Locust Stake Standing in the Marsh that is marked, and from thence runing for length two hundred Seaventy five pearches Southwest Southerly to the side of the Creek called Winders Creek and from thence runing downe the said Creek to the first bounder towards the Eastermost end of the Land upon a Ridge lyes a percel of Land Called the last Choice taken up by Ambrose London containing ten Acres & twenty pearches that this Land compasseth in besides which percel of Land it Containeth and is laid out for One hundred and fifty Acres more or less, All which tract & percell of Land, the sd Marke Cordea by his last will and
