William and Mary King and Queen Over England &c. Came before us two of their Maties Justices of the Peace for the County of Somerset, the within mentioned William:Coulbourne and Anne his wife parties to the within written Indentures,and the said Anne being a part from her said husband and Secretly examined according to Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided, did acknowledge the within mentioned land Called ffathers intent to be the right of him the within named Robert Coulbourne and his Heirs and Assigns for ever. As agt them the said William and Anne and their Heirs and Assigns they will for ever warrant the Same, having recd full Satisfaction to all intents & purposes firmly by these presents. Examined and taken before us the day and year above said Recd the fine on Alienation Thomas: Jones. pr me Stephen Luffe Sheriffe John: King Entered on Record ye 5th. day of 8ber 1691. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Know all men by these presents that I William Coulbourne of the County of Somerset and Province of Maryland Gent do acknowledge and confess my Selfe to owe and am indebted unto Robert Coulbourne of the same County & Province aforesd Gent the Sum of five hundred pounds Sterling money of England, which I promise to pay to the abovenamed Robert Coulbourne or to his certain Attorney or to his Heirs, Execcutors bind me my Heirs Execcutors & Admrs firmly by these presents in testimony whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this 18th. day of March in the 3d. year of their Maties Reign, Wm and Mary Over England, Scotland ffrance & Ireland King and Queen defendrs of the faith &c. Anno Domini 1690/1 The Condition of this Obligation is Such that if the within bound William Coulbourne shall upon the reasonable request to him to be made by the within named Robt. Coulbourne his Heirs or Assigns on this Side & before ye first day of September next ensueing the date within written Convey and assure unto the sd Robert Coulbourne his Heirs and Assigns for ever, a Certain tract of Land called ffathers Intent conteining fifty five Acres fifteen Rood from him ye sd Wm:Coulbourne his Heirs & Assigns for ever, all which premises are lying and being upon the South Side of Animessex River as appears by a Certain Conveyance, under the hand and Seal of him the sd Wm Coulborne bearing date with these presents which sd fifty five acres fifteen Rood with all and Singular its premises wth ye appurtenances I doe further by these presents warrant and defend to him the sd Robert Coulbourne and to his Heirs for ever from me & my Heirs for Ever in wittness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal the day and year above expressed Signed Sealed and delivered William: Coulbourne in ye sight and presence of } Tho: Jones John: King John: West. |
