Section 65 of said Article, authorizing the Mayor and Coun-
cil of Cumberland to exempt from municipal taxes certain
farm land, buildings and undeveloped waste and woodland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
1A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "City of Cumberland", sub-title "Taxes", said
new section to be known as Section 65A, to follow immediately
after Section 65 of said Article, and to read as follows:
65A. The Mayor and Council of Cumberland shall exempt
from City taxes tracts of land containing not less than five
acres in area located within the City limits and the farm
buildings thereon used exclusively for agricultural purposes
and/or undeveloped waste and woodland, not divided into
lots, divisions or sub-divisions.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
Allegany County", sub-title "County Commissioners", said
new section to be known as Section 98, to follow immedi-
ately after Section 97 of said Article, authorizing the
County Commissioners of Allegany County to levy a sum
of money and pay the same to the Allegany County League
for Crippled Children.

missioners", said new section to be known as Section 98, to
