416. The annual license fees to be paid for any moving
picture exhibition, theatrical, or dramatic entertainment,
show, or similar public exhibition in any room, hall, building
or other permanent structure or permanent enclosure shall be
based upon the seating capacity:

(a) For seating capacity up to 500 persons, $50. 00 per year.

(b) For seating capacity of more than 500 persons but not
more than 749 persons, $75. 00 per year.

(c) For a seating capacity for more than 749 persons but
not more than 1, 000 persons, $100. 00 per year.

(d) For a seating capacity over 1, 000 persons, $200. 00 per
year.

2. The annual license fees for public dance halls and skat-
ing rinks shall be $50. 00 per year, and for boxing or wrestling
arenas, and amusement parks, shall be $100. 00 per year.

3. Circuses, carnivals, public exhibitions, and other public
performances held in whole or in part under canvas tents or
other- non-permanent structures shall pay a license fee of
$25.00 for each days' operation.

417. All, licenses issued under the provisions of this sub-
title shall be valid only for use upon the premises designated
in the application as that upon which the business is to be
conducted. The license shall so state and shall be exhibited
in a conspicuous place upon the premises. Any person, firm
or corporation holding a license under the provisions of this
sub-title which shall conduct a business requiring a license at
a location other than that designated in the license and license
application shall lie considered as operating said business
without a license and be subject to all the penalties of this
Act.

418. All annual licenses required under the provisions of
the preceding sections shall be secured within thirty days
after the effective date of this Act on a monthly pro rata cost
based on the annual rate, said licenses to expire on April 30,
1948. All other licenses shall be secured prior to the com-
mencement of any operation after the effective date of this
Act and shall only be valid for the period for which issued
and license fee paid.

419. If at any time after the issuance of a license under
the provisions of this sub-title it shall appear to the Chief of
Police of Baltimore County that the type of exhibition, or the
manner of its conduct and operation is detrimental to the
public health, safety, welfare, or morals, the said Chief of
Police shall file written charges against such licensee with
