     SEC. 3.  And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the passage thereof.

                                   CHAPTER 92.

AN ACT to refund to Noah Walker of the City of Baltimore,
                     certain State taxes therein named.
     Authority to
pay.
     SECTION 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the Treasurer upon the warrant of
the Comptroller, is hereby authorised and directed to
refund and pay to Noah Walker, of the city of Baltimore,
the sum of thirty-five dollars and seventeen cents,
being the amount of State taxes overpaid by him for the
years eighteen hundred and forty-nine, eighteen hundred
and fifty and eighteen hundred and fifty-one, in
consequence of having assessed to him a house on
Bond street, which he did not own, and being doubly
assessed for a house on the west side of market space.
In force.
     SEC. 2.  And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

                                   CHAPTER 93.

AN ACT to refund to Comfort Worthington, certain
                  State taxes erroneously paid by her.
     Authority to
pay.
     SECTION 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the Treasurer upon the warrant of
the Comptroller pay to Comfort Worthington of Baltimore
county, the sum of ten dollars and fifty cents, that
being the amount of State taxes erroneously paid by
her for the years eighteen hundred and forty-eight,
eighteen hundred and forty-nine and eighteen hundred
and fifty.
In force.
      SEC. 2.  And be it enacted, That this act shall have
effect from the date of its passage.
