Resolution relative to the bonds purchased for the use
of the Sinking Fund.

Resolved by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That a Joint Committee of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, consisting of two members of the
House of Delegates, and one member of the Senate,
be appointed for the purpose of examining and destroying
the bonds purchased by the Treasurer for the use
of the sinking fund, as also the coupon certificates of
interest which have been cancelled.

Resolution in relation to Muster and Pay Rolls of the
State.

Resolved by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That his Excellency, the Governor, be respectfully requested
to make application to the proper department
at Washington to obtain a certified copy of all the
muster and pay rolls, or other evidence of the services
of the commissioned and non-commissioned officers,
musicians or privates of the State of Maryland, who
were in the service of the United States in the war
with Mexico, and upon application of any of those
whose names appear on said rolls, or of the nearest
relative of any deceased soldier therein named, to furnish
such person a copy of the same, duly authenticated,
with seal and signature.
