No. 5.
Resolution authorising the Adjutant General to deliver
arms, &c., to the Professors of Mount Saint Mary's
College.

Resolved by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the Adjutant General be, and he is hereby authorised
to deliver to the Professors of Mount Saint
Mary's College, for the use of a corps of military
students of said institution, any number of cadet arms
and accoutrements, if they can be procured from the
armory, or such others as can be furnished, not less than
fifty of each, on the Professors giving bond for the safe
keeping and return of the same, as the Adjutant General
may require.

Resolution requesting the Governor to cause to be forwarded
to Governor Stevens, of Washington Territory,
copies of laws, reports and public documents.

|
WHEREAS, Governor Stevens of Washington
Territory
has applied for copies of the laws, reports and
public documents of this State, for the use of the official
authorities of the said Treasury; Therefore,
|
|
Resolved by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the Governor is hereby respectfully requested to
cause to be forwarded to Governor Stevens, such copies
of said works, as, in his opinion, can be spared from the
State Library.
