58.
AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to pay to
Emanuel Dadds, of the city of Annapolis, the balance
of Pension due Sarah Holland at the time of
her death.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the warrant of
the Comptroller, be, and he is hereby directed to pay to
Emanuel Dadds, or order, the sum of five dollars and
thirty-three cents, the balance of pension due Sarah
Holland at the time of her death.

pay.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted,
That the sum of five
dollars and thirty-three cents be, and the same is hereby
appropriated out of the monies in the Treasury, for the
purpose mentioned in the first section of this act.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted,
That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

59.
AN ACT to pay Henry P. Horton for Hose purchased
of him by late Librarian for the use of the State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer be, and he is hereby
authorised and directed to pay upon the warrant of the
Comptroller to Henry P. Horton of Baltimore city, the
sum of two hundred and fifty-one dollars and thirty-four
cents, being for hose furnished the State by order
of the late Librarian.
