CHAPTER
56.
AN ACT to make valid a certain Deed therein mentioned.

Assignment
made good.
|
Be it enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland,
That a certain assignment made by Cornelius
Boyle, of the city and county of Washington, in the
District of Columbia, administrator, under and by virtue
of letters granted by the Orphans' court of the said
city and county, of John Boyle, deceased, to a certain
George A. Hackett, of the city of Baltimore, and recorded
among the Land Records of Baltimore county,
in liber A. W. B., number four hundred and forty-one,
folio five hundred and forty-two, be as good and effectual,
to all intents and purposes, as if the said assignment
had been made by an administrator duly appointed
by any Orphans' courts of this State; Provided,
however, that nothing herein contained shall be so construed
as to interfere with the rights of other parties
than those herein named.

57.
AN ACT to refund to Samuel E. Beall, certain State
Taxes erroneously paid by them.
|

pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer be, and he is hereby
authorised and directed to pay, upon the warrant of the
Comptroller, to Samuel H. Beall, of Charles county,
the sum of forty-four dollars and fifty cents, being the
amount of State taxes erroneously paid by said Beall,
for the years eighteen hundred and forty-eight, eighteen
