SEC. 3. And be it enacted,
That the said county
commissioners be and are hereby authorised at each
time of meeting, to sit from day to day, so long as in
their judgment and discretion, may be deemed necessary
and proper.

Classification
of business.
Proviso.
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted,
That the said county
commissioners be and are hereby authorised to classify
the business belonging to their tribunal, and designate
the meetings at which the several classes of business
will be disposed of; Provided, however, that the meetings
for making the annual levy, shall be before the
first of July in each and every year.

Per diem.
Proviso.
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted,
That the said county
commissioners shall be entitled to receive three
dollars per day for the time he shall necessarily attend
to the duties of his office, and six cents per mile mileage,
for going to and returning from each meeting of
said commissioners, if he resides without the limits of
Cumberland; Provided, however, that mileage shall
not be allowed more than once for a protracted session
of two or more consecutive days.

Repealed.
|
SEC. 6. And be it enacted,
That all acts or parts
of act inconsistent with this act, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
|
To take effect.
|
SEC. 7. And be it enacted,
That this act shall take
effect from and after the day preceding the first Wednesday
in November next.
|

CHAPTER 330.
AN ACT to authorise and require the Inspectors of
Primary Schools in Frederick county, to pay to the
Trustees of Primary School District number fifty-six,
a sum of money for the purposes therein mentioned.
|
Authority to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the inspectors of primary schools in
Frederick county, be and they are hereby authorised
and required to pay to the trustees of primary school
district number fifty-six, in said county, such sum of
money as the said trustees would have been entitled to
receive if a primary school had been duly and regularly
opened and kept up in said school district, by a teacher
