Dec. Ses. 1825.

                        JOS. KENT, ESQ. GOVERNOR.

the judges of the orphans court of the county aforesaid; and
the said trustees before they proceed to act by virtue of this appointment
shall give bond to the state of Maryland, to be approved
by the judges aforesaid, in such penalty, and with such
security as shall be prescribed by the judges aforesaid, for the
faithful performance of the trust reposed in them.

Bond.     2.  And be it enacted, That the said bond shall be filed and
recorded in the office of the orphans' court of said county, a
copy whereof, under the seal of court, shall be received in evidence
in any court of law or equity in this state.
Deed.     3.  And be it enacted, That any conveyance or deed made by
the trustees aforesaid, agreeably to the provisions of this act,
shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be valid and effectual,
to pass and convey all the right, title, and interest which
the said Samuel Stevenson had at the time of his death, in and
to the lands in such deed mentioned, to the purchaser and purchasers
of the same, which deed shall be recorded among the
land records of Baltimore county aforesaid, within the time
prescribed for recording other deeds.
Proceeds invested.     4.  And be it enacted, That the money arising out of the sale
of said lands in the hands of the said trustees, after deducting
the expenses of the sale of said lands, to be ascertained by
the judges of the orphans' court aforesaid, shall be invested in
such public stocks, or loaned upon such security as the said
judges may approve and direct, to the use and for the trusts
and purposes specified in the last will and testament of Samuel
Stevenson aforesaid.

                                            CHAPTER 16.

An act to confirm an act entitled, An act to repeal an act entitled, An act
    to alter, change and repeal such parts of the constitution and form of
    government of this state, as relate to the division of Allegany county
    into eight seperate election districts, passed at December session,
    eighteen hundred and sixteen, and confirmed at December session,
    eighteen hundred and seventeen.

Confirmed.         Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
an act passed at December session, eighteen hundred and twenty
four, chapter sixty-seven, entitled, an act to repeal an act entitled,
an act to alter, change and repeal such parts of the constitution
and form of government of this state as relate to the 
division of Allegany county into eight seperate election districts,
passed at December session, eighteen hundred and sixteen,
and confirmed at December session, eighteen hundred and
seventeen, be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
