Dec. Ses. 1825.

                    JOSEPH KENT, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

washed down, and lodged against the pillars of the bridge,
thereby rendering it unsafe:  Therefore,

Fish dam prohibited.     Sec. 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, it shall not be lawful
for any person or persons to erect any fish-dam or other obstructions
in, or across Allen's Fresh Run, above the bridge at
Allen's Fresh, in Charles county, which shall in any manner
endanger the safety and security of said bridge.
Penalty.     2.  And be it enacted, That if any person or persons shall
violate this act, they shall forfeit and pay for every such violation
the sum of twenty dollars, to be recovered before any justice
of the peace of said county, one half of which to go to the
informer, and the other half to the state.

An act to provide a revenue for the support of the government of this
                                                   State.

bonds.
    Sec. 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the levy court of the several counties in this state, are hereby
authorised and required to levy on the assessable property within
their respective counties, clear of the expenses of collection,
severally as follows, on Saint Mary's county, the sum of five
hundred and sixty-two dollars, on Kent county the sum of five
hundred and ninety-nine dollars sixty six cents, and two thirds
of a cent; on Anne Arundel county, the sum of one thousand
three hundred and ninety-five dollars, on Calvert county the
sum of three hundred and forty-two dollars sixty-six cents and
two thirds of a cent, on Charles county, the sum of nine hundred
and fifty-eight dollars sixty-six cents and two thirds of a
cent; on Baltimore county, the sum of five thousand one hundred
and three dollars; on Talbot county, the sum of five hundred
and eighty-eight dollars sixty-six cents and two thirds of a
cent; on Somerset county, the sum of seven hundred and eighty-eight
dollars; on Dorchester county the sum of seven hundred
and eighty-three dollars sixty-six cents and two thirds of a cent;
on Cecil county the sum of eight hundred and forty-six dollars
thirty-three cents and one third of a cent; on Prince George's
county the sum of one thousand and ninety-three dollars and
sixty-six cents and two thirds of a cent; on Queen Anne's county
the sum of eight hundred dollars and sixty-six cents and two
thirds of a cent; on Worcester county the sum of six hundred
and ninety-eight dollars, thirty-three cents and one third of a
cent; on Frederick county the sum of two thousand two hundred
and sixty-five dollars sixty-six cents and two thirds of a
cent; on Harford county, the sum of seven hundred and sixty-one
dollars; on Caroline county the sum of three hundred and
twenty dollars; on Washington county the sum of one thousand
