                                            CHAPTER 131.

An act to authorise the Levy Court of Anne Arundel county, to levy
    a sum of money on said county for the use of Jeremiah L. Boyd, of
    the city of Annapolis.

    Sec. 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the justices of the levy court of Anne Arundel county be,
and they are hereby authorised and directed at their next meeting
for the purpose of making their annual levy, to assess and
levy on said county for the use of the said Jeremiah L. Boyd,
such sum of money as in their judgment will be an adequate
compensation for the extra work done by said Boyd on the
court house of said county.

                                            CHAPTER 132.

An act to authorise the guardian of Lambert Smith Norwood to lease the
                                  real estate therein mentioned.

1826.
    WHEREAS, it is represented to the general assembly of
Maryland, by the petition of Elizabeth Smith, guardian of Lambert
Smith Norwood, that said Lambert Smith Norwood is
entitled to the reversion in fee, in common with Mary Smith,
Ellen Smith and Caroline Smith, of and in a certain piece of
parcel of ground, situate on Fell's street at Fell's Point in the
city of Baltimore, and described in a deed of demise thereof from
Charles Sterett Ridgely to Nathaniel Childs, recorded among
the land records of Baltimore county court Liber W. G. No.
eighty-one, folio one hundred and ninety, &c; And whereas, it
is further represented that it is expedient that the said piece of
ground, and the interest and estate of said Lambert Smith
Norwood therein, should be leased for the term of ninety-nine
years, subject to covenant of renewment of said term forever,
therefore,
Preamble.
    Sec. 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall and may be lawful to, and for the guardian for the
time being, of said Lambert Smith Norwood, for and in behalf
of, and in the name of said Lambert Smith Norwood to demise
the said piece or parcel of ground or for the interest and estate
herein of said Lambert, to unite in, or confirm a demise thereof,
for term of ninety-nine years, with covenant that the said term
and demise shall be renewable forever, upon such conditions as
are usual in demises for a like term in the city of Baltimore,
and upon such consideration, and yielding such rent or rents as
to said guardian shall seem fit; Provided, That all persons having
any interest or estate in said piece or parcel of ground, or the
reversion aforesaid thereof, shall confirm, or unite in said demise.
