We have nominated on the part of the House of
Delegates, Hon. Murray Vandiver and Thomas J.
Shyrock, and we have appointed as tellers on the part
of the House of Delegates, Messrs. Dennis and God-
win, who are to receive the votes of the House of Dele-
gates, and in connection with the tellers appointed by
your Honorable Body to count the same.

Which was read.
The hour of 12.15 p. m., having arrived, the Senate
proceeded to the election of Treasurer of the State of
Maryland.
The Senators proceeded to deposit their ballots in
the ballot-box, which was delivered to Messrs. Gill
and Thomas, who conjointly with the Committee of
the House of Delegates retired from the Senate Cham-
ber to count the ballots
Said Committee having performed their duty, re-
turned and submitted the following
