The Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates appealed
and delivered the following message:
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
January 28th, 1904.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
We propose, with your concurrence, the appoint-
ment of a Joint Special Committee of five, three on the
part of the House, and two on the part of the Senate;
to investigate and report to the General Assembly
upon the affairs of St. John's College, Annapolis, in
accordance with Resolution No. 41, of the General
Assembly of 1832,
We name for the said Committee on the part of the
House, Messrs. Linthicnm, Garey and Heiikel.

Mr. Gadd offered the following message:

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message, proposing the ap-
pointment of a Joint Special Committee of tive, three
on the part of the House, and two on the part of the
Senate, to investigate and report to the General As-
sembly upon the affairs of St. Jonh's College, Annapo-
lis, in accordance with Resolution No. 41 of the Gen-
eral Assemble of 1832, and we concur therein.
Wename the said Committee on the part of Senate,
Messrs. Gadd and Wilson.
