Mr. Perkins, from Select Committee on Governor's
inauguration, offered the following report.
[SEE DOCUMENT D,]
(Ordered to be filled with Secretary of the Senate.)
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.
REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Robinson, from the Committee on Finance, re-
ported favorably, the following order:
Ordered, That the postmaster of the Senate be and
is hereby directed to furnish each Senator, the Secre-
tary, Journal Clerk and Reading Clerk, twenty-five
dollars worth of postage stamps, and the other elected
officers of the Senate five dollars worth of postage
stamps.
Mr. Brewington offered the following proposed
amendment,
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After the words "Journal Clerk," add the words
"Chief Engrossing Clerk and Sergeant-at-Arms."
Which amendment was adopted.
The question then recurred upon the original order,
which was adopted by yeas and nays, as follows:
