A bill entitled "An Act to pay the School Commis-
sioners of Garrett county, a sum of money out of the
State School Tax."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance (hereafter to be appointed.)
Also,
A bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the sale of
spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer at any
place in Garrett county within three vand one half
miles of Fairview church, in election district number
eight."
Which was read the first time and referred to
Messrs Palmer, Gray and Wilson
By Mr. Applegarth,
A bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 106 of
Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Dorchester county,' sub-title, 'County Commis-
sioners, County Treasurer and Collectors,' and to re-
enact the same with amendments."
Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs,
Applegarth, Foxwell and Thomas.
Also,
A bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of the
Cambridge and Chesapeake Railroad Company, and
ratify the proceedings of the Board of Incorporators
or Directors of said company."
Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations (hereafter to be ap-
pointed).
