and their commercial wealth and prosperity may be
recognized and appreciated; therefore be it
Resolved. That the Baltimore Chamber of Com-
merce respectfully petitions the General Assembly of
Maryland, that our State should be fittingly repre-
sented by an exhibit which will be fully up to the
occasion; tnat our State may not suffer by comparison;
that our mineral wealth, the productiveness of our
land and v\aters, advantages of location and climate,
educational features, all the resources that go to make
a State great, shall be faithfully and completely pic-
tured,
Resolved, That the Chamber respectfully urges that
such a sum be appropriated as will accomplish this
necessary result, this Chamber leaving the amount to
the discretion of the members of ihe General Assem-
bly.
Resolved, That a copy of this action be transmitted
to the President of the Senate and Speaker of the
House of Delegates.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Finance (hereafter to be appointed).

ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Gadd, it was
Ordered, That the Secretary be directed and is
hereby authorized to supply each Senator with a
Fountain pen.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance (hereafter to be appointed).
On motion of Mr. Robinson, it was
Ordered, That the Superintendent of the State
House be authorized to furnish two tables, one for
cloakroom and one for Committee on Finance; also
two dozen waste paper baskets for Senate Chamber
and committee rooms.
Which was read and adopted.
