REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Brown, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably, the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to protect fish during
the spawing season fu the waters of the rivers of
Queen Anne's Anne's county.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 172 A,

of Article 18. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Queen Anne's County," sub title "Fish and Terra-
pins."

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the erection

of a high school building in Centreville, Queen Anne's

county.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the speedy

execution and enforcement of chapter 299, of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, relating to the establish-
ing and maintaining a high school in Queen Anne's
county.

Which were severally read the second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Wilkinson, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably, the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title

"Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Fish, Crabs and
Terrapins."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the sale of
spirituous and fermented liquors in St. Mary's county,

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 4, section 2, after the word "vicinity," add
"or district."

In section 8, line 6, strike out "in said county" and
insert "on said premises."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Smith, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably, the following bills:
