House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," under a new sub-title, to be
called sub-title "Oysters," and to be known as "Sec-
tion 704 A," relating to the licensing of-measurers of
oysters in the city of Baltimore and their compensa-
tion.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore City Senators.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 45, of
Article 48, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Inspection," sub-title "Tobacco," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

Which was rend the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Inspections.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 3, of chapter 538, of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Elections," as enacted by the Act of 1890.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Elections.

House Joint Resolution authorizing the State
Librarian to lend to the Law Faculty of the Baltimore
University certain law books.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Commtttee on Library.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 19 and 42, of the Code or
Public General Laws, title "Public Education."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Education.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1, of
Article 80, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Reporter, State," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the deposit of
money in the hands of public officers of Kent county,
in the national banks of Chestertown.

Which was read the first time, and referred to
Messrs. Hepbron, Wootton and Wirt.
