INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Brown, the following bills :
Senate bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to
sundry gifts, bequests and devises contained in the
last wills and testaments of certain persons, late of the
State of Maryland, deceased, and also to certain gifts,
grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various per-
sons in this State, to and for the use and benefits of
sundry ministerial persons, religious corporations,
denominations or sects, and to certain charitable insti-
tutions hereafter named.
Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 18, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Mary-
land, title "Queen Anne's County,"by adding a new
sub-title thereto,''Queenstown,'' and certain additional
sections thereto under said sab-title, to follow .section
218, and to be known as 218 A, 218 B, 218 C, 218 D,
218 E, 218 F and 218 G, relating to and providing for
the incorporation of Queenstown.

Messrs. Brown, Dawson and Lloyd.

Senate bill entitled au Act to authorize and empower
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to exempt
to such extent as to them may seem expedient, any
species of personal property or improvements to real
estate from taxation for city purposes.

Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the valua-
tion, assessment and taxation of corporations having
no capital stock or not organized for profit or engaged
in business for the purpose of making money.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Emondson Avenue, Catonsville and Ellicott City
Electric Railway Company.
Which was read the first time, and referred to
the Committee on Corporations.
