Mr. Hayes submitted the following message:
BY THE SENATE,
March 15th, 1802.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :
The Senate has received your message of the 14th
Inst., requesting the Senate to recede from a certain
amendment to the House bill entitled an Act to repeal
section 367, of Article 4, of the Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Harbor, Docks
and Wharfs," and to re-enact with amendments. The
Senate respectfully declines to recede from said
amendment, and requests the appointment of a Con-
ference Committee on the part of the House of Dele-
gates and Senate to consider the matter of said
amendment. The Senate herewith returns said bill
and amendment.
We have appointed on the part of the Senate,
Messrs. Hayes, Evans and Gorter.
