the Code of Public General Laws, title "Militia," sub-
title "Maryland National Guard."

Mr. Pearre submitted the following proposed amend-
ment :

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 27, line 24, after the word "that," in
said line, insert "that the integrity of said Regiment
and the Second Battalion shall not in any way be im-
paired or destroyed and that."

Which was adopted, by yeas and nays, as follows:

In section 27, line 12, after the words "Snow Hill,"
insert "one company in Brooklyn, Anne Arundel
county."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Hayes, from the Committee on Finance, re-
ported unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the University
club of Baltimore city to issue bonds for the purchase
and improvement of its club building.
