With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 2, line 6, strike out the words "seventy-
five" and insert "one hundred."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time.

Mr. Coffin, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of
Public Local Laws, Article 17, relating to roads in;
Prince George's county.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Seibert, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably, the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Washington county to issue bonds
for building a school house in Hagerstown and to levy
a tax for the payment of the same.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Washington county to refund to
Martin L. Byers and others certain moneys paid by
them as endorsers for George W. Pole, late Collector
of State and county taxes.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Toadvin, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 124, of"
Article 23, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Wicomico County," sub-title "Roads,."

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 41 to.
47, inclusive, of Article 23, of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Wicomico County," sub-title
"Fences."

Which were read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Hubner, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

Senate bill enitled an Act to amend sections 1, 2
and 3, of Article 111, of the Public Local Laws of the
State of Maryland.
