Mr. Evans, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the re-
division of the Seventh Ward of Baltimore city into

election precincts.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be

engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Austin, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Cam-
bridge Electric Light and Power Company.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be

engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 239, of
Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Dorchester County," sub-title "Oysters."

House bill entitled an Act to amend section 288, of
Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Dorchester County," sub-title "State's Attorney."

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town

of Hurlock, in Dorchester county.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Wilkinson, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably, the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of St. Mary's county to levy a sufficient
«um of money for the erection of two school houses
in said county.

Which was read the second time.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 110, of
Article 19, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"St. Mary's County,'' sub-title "State's Attorney/'

With the following proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 110, line 5, strike out the word "six" and
insert "eight."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time.

House bill entitled an Act to prescribe the compen-
sation and regulate the sessions of the Orphans' Court
for St. Mary's county.
