House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections
11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 20 A, 21, 28, 33 and 34, of
Article 72, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Oysters," and to re enact the same with amendments.

With the following proposed amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 14, line 113, strike out "twelve," and insert
"fifteen."

Section 21, line 220, after the word "use," add "or
transplanting or cultivating."

Section 17, line 141, after the word "installment,"
add "during the season for which such boat or vessel
is licensed."

Section 20, line 127, strike out "six," . and insert
"eight."

Section 20, line 177, after the word "inspector,"
add ' 'by and with the advice and consent of the Senate."

Section 20, line 14, after the word "Cambridge," in-
sert "one to Wicomico county, and one for Somerset
county, outside of Crisfied district."

Which were considered, and
On motion by Mr. Wilkinson,

Said bill and amendments were ordered to lie over,
and be made the Order of the Day for Wednesday,
March 23d, at 1 P, M.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections from

67 to 76, inclusive, of Article 72, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Oysters," sub-title "State Ship-
ping Commissioners," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

With the following proposed amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend section 67 by adding after the word "Arti-
cle," in line 8, at the end of said section, the following:

"Provided, that vessels or boats under ten tons,
owned and working exclusively in Somerset and St.
Mary's county, shall not be subject to the provision
of this section."

Amend" by adding to section 68, the following:

"Provided, however, that the provisions of sections

68 and 76 of this Article shall not apply to persons
engaged on such vessels living in the county of which.
