In lines 14 - and 141, section 164, strike out the
words "twentieth, ninth, fourteenth, twenty-second,
sixteenth and eighteenth," and insert in lieu thereof
the words "seventeenth and twenty-second."

In line 141, section 146, after the word "county,"
add the following words: "The Fifth shall be composed
of the Seventh, Ninth, Fourteenth and the Eighteenth;
the Sixth shall be composed of the Sixth, Tenth and
Sixteenth Election Districts of said county, the
Seventh shall be composed of the First, Eighth and
Eleventh Election Districts of said county; the
Eighth shall be composed of the Twelfth, Nineteenth
and Twentieth Election Districts of said county."

Mr. Hayes submitted the following proposed amend-
ments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Add to the end of section 167 the following words :
"That all the members of the Boards of Control and
Review provided for in this Act, except appointments
to fill vacancies occurring after the adjournment of the
Senate, shall be appointed by the Governor by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate."

Mr. Toadvin submitted the following proposed
amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After the word "county," in line 4 of section 167,
add, "Except in Wicomico and Allegany counties,
where the County Commissioners shall act as the
Board of Control and Review and have all the power
conferred on the Board of Control and Review granted
by this Act. The assessors for Wicomico county
shall make returns to the County Commissioners of
said county, as provided in this Act to make returns,
to the Board of Control and Review, and said com-
missioners may sit as often as is necessary to carry
out the provisions of this Act ; that the Clerk to the
County Commissioners of Wicomico county shall per-
form the duties required of the clerks to the Boards,
of Control and Review and receive such additional
compensation as is now allowed by law, as the County
Commissioners may see proper to grant."
