at its January Session, 1872, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the Baltimore, Hampden and Lake Roland Rail-
road Company.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
'Committee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act to prevent deception and
frauds by owners or agents who may have control of
any stallion kept for services by proclaiming or pub-
lishing fraudulent or false pedigrees or records, and
to protect such owners or agents, and the collection of
iees for services of such stallions.

House bill entitled an Act to enable the Martini
German Evangelical Lutheran Congregation, Un-
altered Augsburg Confession of Baltimore, Maryland,
to sell, lease, dispose of or mortgage its property.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 111 and 112, of Article 16,
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
title "Chancery," sub-title "Non-Residents."

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to refund to James
Nichols, money erroneously paid into the State
Treasury.

House bill entitled an Act to pay the claim of J. H.
Medairy & Company for stationery furnished the
Executive and Legislative Departments, for the years
1891 and" 1892.

Which were read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.

Also, delivered,

House Joint Resolution authorizing the Attorney
General to employ counsel to assist him in the defence
of William Marsh, a citizen of Maryland, now held by
the authorities of Virginia, for trial, for alleged vio-
lation of the oyster laws of the said State of Vir-
ginia.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Finance.
