On motion by Mr. Moss,
The Senate proceeded to the consideration of,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriateja [sum of
money to pay William H. Taylor for services rendered
the House of Delegates as flag-hoister, Robert Bellis
as assistant postmaster, and Benjamin Sevier as keeper
of cloak room.
Which was considered, and

Said bill read the third time, and failed for
want of a constitutioal majority, by yeas and nays, as
follows:
